Booking information, terms & conditions
When you have made your decision about the holiday you would like to book, please contact us by e-mail, telephone or text to check availability and provisionally secure your booking. Then print out, complete and send off the booking form. Use the price information to calculate the cost of your holiday and send a deposit of 25% of the total cost with your form. [Make cheques payable to Robert Westwood.] If you wish you may send the total cost at this stage. We will hold the booking for 7 days.
You will be sent an invoice for the remainder later and asked for full payment at least 7 weeks before the start of the holiday.
Terms and Conditions
In the very unlikely event that we have to significantly change or cancel your booking you will be offered:
- a full refund or
- the chance to book the same holiday at a later date or accept the proposed changes.
We cannot pay any compensations to you as a result of any changes or cancellations, nor if we cancel your booking due to any action by you.
we cannot accept any responsibility or liability for any accident, death or delay/cancellation/alteration of any holiday as a result of circumstances beyond our control, such as bad weather, sickness, natural disasters, industrial disputes and changes in schedules of public transport.
Travel Insurance - We cannot accept liability for any accident, damage, loss or injury for circumstances beyond our control. We strongly advise you to take out a travel insurance policy, including cover for cancellation.
If you need to cancel:
If you cancel your booking shortly before the start date it could cost us money due to the decreasing likelihood of obtaining another booking. We therefore have a scale of cancellation charges as follows:
If we receive notification more than 8 weeks before departure we will refund any amount paid minus the deposit or £50 per person [whichever is less].
If you cancel less than 7 weeks before the start a refund will be made less the following:
* 7-6 weeks before start of holiday - deposit + 25% of balance,
* 6-4 weeks before start of holiday - deposit + 50% of balance,
* 4-2 weeks before start of holiday - deposit + 75% of balance.
No refund can be given for a cancellation less than 2 weeks before the start of the holiday.
We strongly advise you to take out travel insurance against the risk of cancellation charges.
